if this was the best book i’ve ever read, or if i want to burn it.
i do think it lived up to it’s hype.
the ending was incredible 😭
by the end i was SQUEALING and i couldn’t even properly giggle and kick my feet because it was 2am and the whole world was deathly quiet. disappointing 😔

EVANGELINE FOX i adore her name. her as a character? ehhhhh she’s not the best fmc ever. But to be honest, badass fmc’s are amazing and all but it’s really nice to have a silly, cute, but still baddie whimsical princess i do like how even though there’s a chosen one trope it’s not like she’s the only one, that makes the trope more sufferable. Kind of. She also lowkey represents us teen girls. She also reminds me of someone sm. So there’s this girl in a comic (maybe manga i don’t really know) called hookie. Her name is like Monica I think. Observe the similarities:
Eva: a princess, who believes in love and is quite whimsical but is also a baddie. Also has pink hair and wears a lot of dresses.

JACKS he’s just–he’s just perfect. and i love him sm. i have nothing else to say. NAUR WAIT. THE ENDINGGGGG GAHHHHHHHHHHH. Like “there’s nothing of equal value!??!” Yeah um, I know what I want for christmas this year. Please deliver a boy with blonde hair, blue eyes, a strange obsession with apples and who’s name starts with ‘J’ and ends with ‘acks’. I’ll be the happiest girl in the world, thank you 🥺🥺 wait no i know a song that is so jacks-core. I don’t know the name but it’s like “She said, you think the devil has horns? well, so did I. But I was wrong. His hair is combed and he wears a suit and tie. He’s nice. Polite. He’ll catch you by surprise. A smile so bright. You’d never bat an eye.“

CHAOS hehehehe he’s soo handsome. (like eva literally nicknamed him Handsome Stranger before she found out that it was chaos) but, i mean, at the end… he wasn’t the best but WHO CARES? when eva becomes a vampire? AHHHHHHHHHH. he’s a gentlemanly monster. Unpopular opinion, but I love him so much. Not as much as Jacks, but he’s a close second. but also the ending when we find out who he really is i was like….NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT….
LALA She’s such a queen. Like ugh she might be the unwed bride or whatever but that doesn’t stop her from getting engaged over and over again and not ever getting married.
