MY REVIEW:
I really liked this book! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! I recommend this book to people who like mythology. This book is also funny.
WARNING!
DO NOT read if you don’t want spoilers!!!
I really liked this book. I was really surprised when I found out that Percy had gone missing. And Annabeth said that he’d gone missing just 4 months after the Battle of Manhattan( You have to read the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series to read about that) which is sad. It wasn’t hard to believe that there was a Roman camp. I mean, this is in a world where gods are real and horses fly, of course there’s a Roman camp. At the end it was so obvious that Percy is at the Roman camp. I sure hope Percy survives there.
IS THERE A SEQUEL?:
Yes, there is a sequel. The series is called the Heroes of Olympus. I listed them below. I even put their summaries. I hope you enjoy these books! Happy reading!
- The Son of Neptune
The story follows the adventures of amnesiac Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Neptune also known as Poseidon, as he meets a camp of Roman demigods and goes to Alaska with his new friends Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang to free the Greek god of death, Thanatos, and help save the world from Gaea, the earth goddess. The novel is narrated in third-person, switching between the points of view of Percy, Frank, and Hazel. Read to find out what happens next!
- Mark Of Athena
Six months after the events of The Lost Hero, Leo Valdez has constructed a flying ship named Argo II, for use in the quest to Greece and Rome to stop Gaea from awakening. Leo, Jason Grace, Piper McLean, and Annabeth Chase, accompanied by Coach Hedge, arrive at Camp Jupiter to rendezvous with Percy Jackson and Roman demigods Frank Zhang and Hazel Levesque. Camp Jupiter’s praetor Reyna tells Annabeth that in order to unite Greek and Roman demigods against Gaea, they have to retrieve the Athena Parthenos, a giant statue of Athena that was stolen by the Romans from the Greeks in ancient times. The statue can only be retrieved by the demigod children of Athena through the help of the Mark of Athena, and no one has succeeded. The seven demigods left Camp Jupiter and headed on their journey to Greece. Do they make it to Greece?
- The House of Hades
The story follows the Greek demigods Annabeth Chase, Leo Valdez, Piper McLean, Nico di Angelo, and Percy Jackson; and the Roman demigods Jason Grace, Hazel Levesque, and Frank Zhang on their quest to close the Doors of Death, stop the Giants from raising Gaea, and prevent war between Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood. The novel is narrated in third-person, alternating between the points of view by the seven demigods of the “Prophecy of Seven”. Do they get separated?
- The Blood of Olympus
The seven demigods of the Prophecy of Seven—Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, and Frank Zhang—go on their final adventure to defeat gaea/Terra while Nico di Angelo, Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano(also known by her initials RARA), and Coach Gleeson Hedge attempt to bring the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood in order to prevent a war between the Roman and Greek demigods. The novel is narrated in third-person, alternating between the points of view of Jason, Piper, Leo, Reyna, and Nico, making it the first time in the series that someone other than one of the seven demigods of the prophecy is the viewpoint character. Do they all make it out alive?
